Anxiety & Depression Counseling in California

Get “unstuck” and start really living.

You might sense something is off or you might know exactly what it is—either way that doesn’t mean you know what to do.

Put simply: you’re tired of feeling this way.

You’ve been carrying all of this for a long time—the numbness, loneliness, and frustration that bubble up when you don’t know how to express what you need. I know how exhausting this can feel, especially when you’re trying to keep up with relationships, work, and everything else.

You’re not broken or “too much.” You’re most likely stuck in patterns that aren’t working for you anymore—but you don’t have to stay here.

MY APPROACH

Because anxiety and depression look different for each person, therapy will, too.

What we work on together will depend on you—what’s been helpful in the past, what hasn’t, and what actually feels doable in your life. A lot of our time will be spent curiously exploring how anxiety or depression shows up for you, what keeps you stuck, and how we can shift those patterns in a way that feels both meaningful and sustainable.

I pull from different approaches—

Relational, DBT, Internal Family Systems, attachment and early childhood experiences, mindfulness, and somatic therapy—but that doesn’t mean we’ll follow them rigidly, with a specific step-by-step plan. This is more about finding what fits. You may need concrete tools to handle panic attacks, help with spiraling thoughts, or building motivation when depression makes everything feel impossible. Maybe it’s about unpacking deeper beliefs that keep you feeling stuck or understanding how your past relationships shaped the way you navigate emotions now. Maybe it’s reconnecting with your body instead of feeling like you’re constantly in fight-or-flight mode. Most likely, it’s a mix of all of the above.

It’s important to recognize that this isn’t just about symptom relief (though that’s important!); it’s about helping you feel more like yourself. More present. More connected. More in control of your life in a way that feels real—not just another to-do list of coping skills. My goal is to help you get to a place where you're not just getting by, but actually feeling good about where you're headed.

WHAT THERAPY FOR ANXIETY & DEPRESSION CAN DO FOR YOU:

  • Get a clearer sense of how anxiety and depression show up in your life and learn how to handle them with more ease.

  • Learn to communicate in ways that help you connect and be heard by others.

  • Spend less time overthinking and more time just being present in the moment.

  • Explore new ways to find support, healing, and community that truly work for you.

  • Understand how compassion (vs. shame) can actually shift your emotional state and help you feel more grounded.

  • Reduce physical symptoms so you can feel more at home and at ease in your own body.

Feel comfortable, confident, and capable being your authentic self.
